The First Grapes of 2026

On 26 January we officially kicked off our 2026 harvest. After an exceptionally dry growing season, with little to no rain since October, and a summer marked by intense heat and strong winds, the vines have delivered a beautifully healthy, disease-free crop. Yields are average, but the quality of fruit coming into the cellar has us truly excited about what lies ahead.

We began with our Chenin Blanc, followed by Chardonnay, and today welcomed our first red cultivar into the cellar with Merlot. We’ll be keeping a close eye on the remaining red varieties and expect to harvest them within the coming week.
